The latest moves, appointments and personnel changes in North American wealth management.

CBIZ
CBIZ, a US professional services advisor, has named former Avantax Wealth Management senior figure Jennifer Hutchins as chief investment officer of CBIZ Investment Advisory Services. 

Hutchins has more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning, investment analysis, and portfolio strategy.

Most recently, Hutchins was co-chief investment officer at Avantax, leading the portfolio management and diligence teams. Before that, she worked at AG Edwards & Sons, Beck, and Avantax, which was an early step in her career before rejoining later.

“Her extensive expertise will be instrumental as we further strengthen our position as a nationally-recognized registered investment advisor and help set the standard for service and innovation in our industry,” Jim King, president of CBIZ IAS, said. 

Hutchins earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Christendom College.

Raymond James
Raymond James has welcomed wealth advisor Gino P Molettieri to its independent advisor channel.

Molettieri has joined from Commonwealth Financial Network where he managed $174 million in client assets. He operates under the company banner of Lumen Wealth Management and is based in Reading, Massachusetts. 

The Lumen business serves business owners, pre-retirees, retirees and corporate executives. He is joined by his sister and client relationship manager Maria Molettieri.

Molettieri founded his practice in affiliation with Commonwealth in 2014 and brings a total of 24 years of industry experience to his advisory role. His experience is backed by a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northeastern University.
